The Kahokugata Lagoon was once home to a unique landscape known as a brackish water ecosystem, which supported the lagoon basin forests and agricultural lands. Through returning the lagoon to a brackish water ecosystem, we aim to sustain an ecologically rich region that can be enjoyed by all.
